'ZDNET Recommends': What exactly does it mean?

ZDNET's recommendations are based on many hours of testing, research, and comparison shopping. We gather data from the best available sources, including vendor and retailer listings as well as other relevant and independent reviews sites. And we pore over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the products and services we’re assessing.

When you click through from our site to a retailer and buy a product or service, we may earn affiliate commissions. This helps support our work, but does not affect what we cover or how, and it does not affect the price you pay. Neither ZDNET nor the author are compensated for these independent reviews. Indeed, we follow strict guidelines that ensure our editorial content is never influenced by advertisers.

Samsung unveiled its newest lineup of Galaxy S25 smartphones last month at its Unpacked event in San Jose, California. This included three new phone models -- the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, all of which are available for purchase now.

Thankfully, you won't have to spend a pretty penny to get your hands on the latest Galaxy S25 models, with promotional offers and prices available from major mobile carriers -- including T-Mobile. Plus, we're still seeing several offers on all three of the new Galaxy S25 smartphones, even a few weeks after their initial launch.

So what are the best T-Mobile offers on the new Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup? Our pick is snagging the Galaxy S25+ for free (or receive up to $1,000 off any phone in the series) when trading in any eligible device in any condition on T-Mobile's Go5G Next plan. This limited-time offer means you'll get a new Galaxy phone no matter what condition your eligible device trade-in is in. As a person who never turns in their phone in "good" condition -- that's a good deal.

Plus, new and existing customers can also take advantage of similar offers for a limited time, including getting the Galaxy S25+ for free (or up to $1,000 off on any phone in the series) when trading in any eligible device in working condition on T-Mobile's Go5G Plus plan.

If you're eyeing the base model Galaxy S25 -- don't fret. You can also get one for free (or up to $800 off any phone in the series) if you add a line on a Go5G Plus/Next plan or if you trade in an eligible device in working condition and add a line on a Go5G plan (or most other plans).

Also: I've used every Samsung Galaxy S25 model - and the one I love most isn't the Ultra

The majority of customers can score up to $500 off any phone in the Galaxy S25 series when trading in an eligible device in working condition on Go5G or most plans, too. Keep in mind that all of these offers are available via 24 monthly bill credits (plus tax).

Business customers can also swipe up lingering Galaxy S25 offers, like grabbing the Samsung Galaxy S25 for free with a trade in of any eligible device in any condition on T-Mobiles Business Unlimited Advanced Plan when purchased online

Curious what the newest Galaxy S25 series breaks down to a month? Here's T-Mobile's stats:

  • The Samsung Galaxy S25 (available in Silver Shadow, Mint, Icy Blue, and Navy) in 128GB and 256GB starts at $33/month ($0 down; full retail price: $800).
