Nvidia warns that U.S. export bans could cost it billions in China

An investigation by the New York Times shows that despite US export restrictions, there is a lively trade in advanced AI chips in China. Dozens of suppliers in Shenzhen are doing business worth over 100 million dollars in some cases.


Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said at the ServiceNow conference in Las Vegas that being shut out of the Chinese AI market would be a “tremendous loss.”
