AI tools for breast cancer detection fall short of radiologists' expectations
About half of 215 surveyed members of the Society of Breast Imaging already use FDA-approved AI tools for breast cancer detection, but the results fall short of expectations. Only 35 percent report lower recall rates, while 59 percent had expected them.
