OpenAI is reportedly planning its own AI smartphone, with chips from MediaTek and Qualcomm and manufacturing by Luxshare. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, mass production could start as early as the first half of 2027, with up to 30 million devices shipped in the first two years.
