Uber found not guilty in first of many sexual assault lawsuits

Uber was found not responsible by a California jury for an sexual assault that a woman said occurred during a 2016 ride, The New York Times reported. It's the first of what could be thousands of similar lawsuits in the US from women who claim they were "kidnapped, sexually assaulted, sexually battered, raped, falsely imprisoned, stalked, harassed, or otherwise attacked" by Uber drivers, according to the original claim.
