Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced a major shift in the company's approach to moderation and speech. Meta is ditching its fact-checking program and moving to an X-style Community Notes model on Facebook, Instagram and Threads.<br /> Zuckerberg said in a video that Meta has "built a lot of complex systems to moderate content" in recent years. "But the problem with complex systems is they make mistakes. Even if they accidentally censor one percent of posts, that's millions of people."
