OpenAI buys the maker of Mac automation app Sky

OpenAI’s relentless push for growth took another turn on Thursday when the company said it had bought Software Applications Incorporated. The company is perhaps best known for making Workflows. Apple bought that iOS automation app in 2017 and turned it into Shortcuts. This year, though, Software Applications Incorporated unveiled Sky, a new automation app for Mac.
